CONSTITUTION:In a ink jet recording head which provides with an ink jet port 1, having a slit-form opening, consisting of an upper plate 2a and a lower plate 2b, and with an ink receptacle 9, the lamina 8, having a similar shape to that of the slit- form opening of the ink jet port 1, is movably mounted at the inside of the ink receptacle 9, and is inserted into the inside of the ink jet port 2 through the movement of the lamina 8 at a time when a head suspends recording.
