Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure a sound transmission matrix at a better accuracy based on a pipeline impedance and a sound pressure transmission function when a attachment pipeline is connected to a sampling pipeline or not. CONSTITUTION:Four microphones m1-m4 are mounted before and after a sampling pipeline A. Transmission functions of the microphones m1 and m2, m3 and m4 and m3 and m1 are measured with a Fourier analyzer 1 with or without an attachment pipeline A' to be connected and memorized in a computer 2. Based on the transmission functions, a transmission matrix is calculated with a computer and outputted to a plotter 3.
