Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an electromagnetic induction type liquid level gauge which can perform a continuous measurement and a fixed point measurement, by a method wherein a detecting coil is located outside an exciting coil, split coils are situated at the upper and the lower part of the detecting coil, and the detecting coil and the split coils are connected in series. CONSTITUTION:An exciting coil 3 is located in the axial direction in a protection layer 1 with a bottom in a conductive liquid, and a detecting coil 4 and split coils 5, 5a, 5b, 6, 6a, 6b for one-point measurement are positioned outside the coil 3 in a state to be connected in series. The split coils 5-5b, 6-6b are coupled to one- point indicating circuits 9 and 10 through insulation amplifiers 14 and 15, and a liquid level indicating circuit 8 indicates a liquid level. This constitution permits the use of the whole of the coils 4, 5-5b, 6-6b as a continuous measurement coil, and enables the independent measurement of the individual signal from the coils 4, 5-5b, 6-6b with the insulation amplifiers 14 and 15 positioned between the split coils and the indicating circuits.
