Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible for every lot-produced parts to be screwed down by a system wherein a work discriminating signal is received by a discriminating signal input unit which calls the memory data of the work in conformity with the discriminating signal as programmed by previous memorizing to position the work.
CONSTITUTION: The work to be screwed down brought on a conveyor line to the front of the main body of screw-driving machine is discriminated its kind by a work discriminating unit 13 to produce the discriminating signal. The signal is received by the discriminating signal input unit 5 and sent to a central processing unit 3 to be accepted in accordance with the fixed programme previously memorized in a programme memory unit 4. From the processig unit 3, an order to move a table to a fixed screwing-down position is sent to a primary numerical control unit 6 and an order to drive an electric driver 11 after the completion of movement of the table is sent to a secondary numerical control unit 7. When the torque value of the driver reaches the fixed torque value, the order is sent to the processing unit 3 to stop the rotation of the electric driver.
