Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the mutual interference of the nozzles of an ejector by which a gas is ejected in a filmy state (like air curtain, etc.) by arranging the nozzles in such a way that each of the adjacent nozzles is biased toward the thickwise direction of jet stream when observed in a side view.
CONSTITUTION: In an ejector in which nozzles 1aW1c of an oblong cross section are arranged through a connection duct 3 to an air blower, e.g., centrifugal air blower, etc., in such a way as to position them closely to each other in its longitudinal direction, while adjacent nozzles 1 are arranged with an angle (of elevation) difference to each other. For example, in contrast with the progress of jet streams from the nozzles 1a and 1c in the horizontal direction, the progress of the jet stream from the nozzle 1b is directed toward a slantly upward direction. Thus, the jet streams from each of the nozzles can be diffused in all directions without causing interference between each of them, thus preventing the disturbance of the flow of jet streams due to the interference caused between each of them.
