Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the energy necessary for circulating water by providing an air-lift pump for pumping water to a circulation tank in a circulation circuit at the lower part of a tube connecting the circulation circuit to a water supply tank.
CONSTITUTION: When water is fed from a water supply tube 8 through a ball tap valve 10 into a water supply tank 3, it is fed to a hot water storage tank 2 and a heat collector 1, and a valve 10 is closed when the water surface level in the tank 3 becomes h1. When an air-lift pump 7 is then operated, water is supplied from the tank 3 into a circulation tank 4 until the water surface level in the tank 4 becomes h2. The water heated by the heat collector 1 is fed to the tank 2 by the head H between the water level h1 in the tank 3 and the water level h2 in the tank 4. When the water level h1 in the tank 3 is stabilized, the air lift pump 7 will pump the low temperature water in the tank 2.
