Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the monopolization time of an electronic computer, storing data, where an order of two bytes or more is mixed, in a data buffer and by converting data read from the buffer to a one-byte order code and by editing data to store it in the buffer. CONSTITUTION:Data where an order of two bytes or more is mixed is sent from an electronic computer 7 to a receiving circuit 8 of a printer control part 15 successively and is stored in a data buffer 9. After the completion of data transfer, contents of the buffer 9 are read by a code converting circuit 11 and are converted to a one-byte order code by the circuit 11 and are edited and are stored in the data buffer 9. Data stored in the data buffer 9 is transmitted to a serial printer 14 through a read control circuit 12 successively, thus shortening the monopolization time of the electronic computer 7 and reading and printing data in the reverse direction effectively.
