Abstract
PURPOSE:To switch lines without momentary disconnection, by causing delay times and polarities of signals of current and stand-by routes to coincide with each other respectively and by adding these signals, in the line switching system where lines are switched by the bipolar signal. CONSTITUTION:Transmission terminal swtich 17 of the current line to be switched is driven to branch the signal of the current line to the stand-by line. Delay difference measuring and bipolar pulse polarity deciding circuit 23 is connected to receiving terminal switch 16 of this current line. Consequently, the branched signal is input to frame synchronizing circuits 26 and 26s, and components proportional to the delay difference between the current route and the stand-by route are displayed on meter 28. Polarities of bipolar pulses of both routes are checked by bipolar-unipolar converting circuits 25 and 25s of both routes. The delay time of the stand- by line is so adjusted that delay times of both routes coincide with each other, and the polarity of the stand-by line is inverted if polarities of bipolar pulses do not coincide with each other, and these pulses are added by receiving terminal switch 16.
