Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable stable transmission with a simple circuit, by detecting a master station transmission signal at a slave station, and changing the impedance of a pulse transformer through the switching of slave station transmission signal with a given timing from the transmission signal. CONSTITUTION:Data circuits B0, B1, 34, 35 are connected respectively to master and slave side transmission and reception circuits 100 and 200, and a single transmission line 3 couples the master and slave stations via pulse transformers 40, 32. The master station transmission signal Sm from the circuit B1 switches a switching SW circuit 41 and drives the transformer 40 for transmission. In the slave stations, transmission signal Sm is detected at a reception signal detection circuit 33 and it is input to a circuit 34, and it is a control output signal C via a timing set circuit 36 to control the circuit 35. A slave station transmission signal Ss is transmitted from the circuit 35 with this control and the signal Ss switches the transformer 32 via an SW circuit 37. The impedance of the transformer 40 of the master station is changed with the switching of the transformer 32 and the potential at point (a) is changed. This change is detected at a comparator 38 and input to the circuit B0 as a reception signal Rm.
