Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. which has excellent storage stability and produces a coating film having excellent corrosion resistance, weather resistance, appearance,etc., by a method wherein a polyester resin and a crosslinking agent mixture consisting of a phosphate group-contg. crosslinkable copolymer resin and an isocyanate compound, are dispersed in water.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided the titled compsn. consisting of finely divided thermosetting resin particles [composed of 20W90wt% polyester resin (A) having a hydroxyl value of 10W300 and 80W10wt% crosslinking agent mixture (B)], 0,01W5.0wt% (based on the amount of the resin particle) surfactant and/or thickening agent, and a required amount of water, said crosslinking agent mixture consisting of a phosphate group-contg. crosslinkable copolymer resin (i) (obtd. from a monomer mixture consisting of an α,β-monoethylenically unsaturated monomer contg. phosphate group, an N-alkoxymethylated monomer of an α,β-monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid amide and at least one α,β-monoehylenically unsaturated monomer other than the above monomers) and a blocked isocyanate compound (ii) in a weight ratio (on a solid basis) of (ii) to (i) of 0.1/ 99.9W95/5.
