Abstract
PURPOSE: To secure sealing a packing member to the mouth part of the bottle by a method wherein the packing member is inserted into the mouth part of a bottle- shaped initial stage forming body and is treated to form by a specified forming process.
CONSTITUTION: A metallic cylinder 13 mounted with the packing member 12 is inserted into the mouth part 11 of the bottle-shaped initial stage forming body and the mouth part 15 is deformed by the pressure of a mold 17 under heating the mouth part by a heater to secure the packing member thereto. A temperature upon deforming by heating may be a temperature capable of causing the deformation sufficiently and preferably the range of the temperature should be within the temperature at which the deformed part is not whitened but the deformation is caused sufficiently. The deformation of the mouth part may be effected by a method wherein the pressure of the internal part of the bottle-shaped initial stage forming body is reduced or both of external pressurizing and internal pressure reducing are employed together or, further, both of the stretching of the mouth part into the circumferential direction thereof and the heat shrinkage thereof are utilized together.
