Abstract
PURPOSE:To uniformly expanding the intermediate product of a synthetc resin product for preventing the variation in thickness and the occurrence of residual stress by a method in which the intermediate product with a projection is heated at a specific temperature and then fitted into a female mold having an outer and inner shapes and a concavity, matching the shape of a desired product. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin intermediate product 1 with a projection 1a is molded by an injection blow molding, heated at the temperature range the heat distortion temperature to a desired temperature below the decomposition temperature of the synthetic resin, and set soon in a female mold 2, and then a compressed air chamber 5 is touched with an inside ring 4 and compressed air is supplied onto the inside of the intermediate product for pressure forming. In this case, the projection 1a is first allowed to come near a concavity 2a of the female mold 2 and then fitted into the concavity 2a by pressure forming. Thus, the intermediate product can be wholly and uniformly expanded on the basis of the projection 1a serving as a supporting point.
