Abstract

At the time point when the water filling into the casing is completed, the casing pressure and the centrifugal force of water in the runner 5 are balanced thereby the water in the spiral casing 1 is pushed against a runner chamber 3 and the outer-circumference of the runner 5 in hollow cylindrical shape to form a water pillar thereby the water isn't filled any more from the casing side to the runner 5. Consequently the surface of water in the suction tube 10 doesn't contact with the vane of the runner 5 thereby the main machine isn't influenced.
