Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. in which volling processability, drawing processability and rust-inhibiting properties are improved, consisting of a thermosetting epoxy resin compsn., ZnO and a specified phosphate salt.
CONSTITUTION: 0.5W50pts.wt. ZnO (B) having a particle diameter of 0.1W1.5μ and 1W78pts.wt. at least one phosphate salt (C) selected from (condensed) aluminum phosphate, (condensed) zinc phosphate and calcium phosphate, are blended with 100pts.wt. thermosetting epoxy resin compsn. (A) consisting of 60W90wt% epoxy resin (a) having a number-average MW of 1,000W4,000 and an epoxy equivalent of 500W4,000 and 40W10wt% hardener (b) (e.g. a novolak type phenolic resin). The resulting mixt. is dispersed in an org. solvent.
EFFECT: A coating film can be obtd. which has excellent wear resistance, flexing resistance and adhesive properties at an elevated temp. Said film exhibits excellent corrosion resistance even when it is a thin film having a dry film weight of 60mg/ 100cm2.
