Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease exciting currents and reduce eddy-current loss by mounting auxiliary cores, which make magnetic flux bypass, to the T connecting sections of both ends of a central core leg section of a wound-core type three phase three leg core. CONSTITUTION:Rectangular laminated cores 9 are disposed to both side surfaces of T connecting sections 7 in a wound-core type three phase three leg core as auxiliary cores making magnetic flux bypass. With the cores 9, the laminating directions are conformed to the layer winding directins of core yoke sections 10, they are mounted along the yoke sections 10 and their laminating thickness is set at the same value as the laminating thickness of the yoke sections 10. Reluctance is reduced and exciting currents can be decreased by additionally installing such auxiliary cores. And magnetic flux which passes through the wound layers of the core is diminished, and eddy-current loss can be lessened.
