Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a position data at an arbitrary point every moment, by putting one transmission part and two receiving parts on a moving material and by installing plural reflective spheres on the ground. CONSTITUTION:One transmission part 22 and two receiving parts 23 and 23' are provided on moving material 21. Reflective spheres 24 and 24' are installed on the ground in positions symmetric to the advance direction of moving material 21 in the direction vertical to this advance direction. Acoustic waves and radio waves generating the Doppler shift due to surging are radiated from transmission part 22 to reflective spheres 24 and 24', and acoustic waves or radio waves reflected from reflective spheres 24 and 24' are received by receiving parts 23 and 23', thereby detecting speed components of two directions of moving material 21 to operate the position in the advance direction every moment.
