Abstract
PURPOSE:To attain accurate demodulation of PCM signals by providing the D/A converter of a PCM demodulating circuit with a sawtooth wave generating circuit that rises synchronizing with sampling pulses. CONSTITUTION:To input terminal 10, a PCM signal of sampling time T consisting of sampling pulse P and the following data signal D is input and pulses P are detected by sampling pulse detecting circuit 11; and the data signal is converted, synchronizing with pulses P, by series-parallel converting circuit 12 into a parallel signal, which is stored in register 13. The output of clock generating circuit 14, on the other hand, is counted by counter 15 synchronizing with pulses P and a sawtooth wave is generated by circuit 16 synchronizing with the output of counter 15. When the digital value of register 13 coincides with the output value of counter 15, coincidence circuit 17 generates an output, which is applied to sample holding circuit 18 and the output voltage of circuit 16 at that point in time is sampled and held, so that an analog voltage that corresponds to the digital input signal can be obtained from output terminal 19.
