Abstract

PURPOSE:To considerably decrease the occurrence of missupplying of paper by intermittently revolving a paper supply roller by a paper supply command signal, and continuously revolving the supply roller for a fixed time when the delivered paper reaches a predetermined position. CONSTITUTION:This is a paper supplying device 8 for recorders which draws out the paper of a fixed size housed in a housing part, sheet by sheet, with a paper supply roller and supplies the same to a recording part or the like. it is provided with a detector 17 which detects the paper supplied, an intermittent signal generating circuit 26 which starts operating and outputs an intermittent signal on receiving of a supply command signal and stops operating when the detector 17 detects the paper, a one-shot multicircuit 27 which starts operating and outputs a signal of a fixed width when the detector 17 detects the paper and a driving circuit which drives a paper supply roller 10 on receiving of the AND signal of the respective output signals of said circuit 27 and the circuit 26.
