Abstract
PURPOSE:To reliably fix the oxide layer and prevent its peeling, by simultaneously coating Ni powder and Co powder having the grain size smaller than that of Ni powder and burning the coat. CONSTITUTION:Ni powder or an alloy powder 4 mainly composed of Ni is coated together with Co powder having the grain size smaller than that of Ni powder between a base metal 1 and an alkali earth metal oxide layer 3, then it is burnt to provide a formed layer. Consequently the diffusion of an activator or Zr into Ni particles is suppressed, thereby the deformation of Ni particles will never occur, thus preventing possible peeling of the oxide layer 3.
