Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise an accuracy as well as to easily read in any traveling mode by a method wherein a time space to update a display content of a digital indicator is controlled according to a magnitude of a detection vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION:A display control circuit 9 controls a time space to update the content indicated in a digital indicator 8 according to a magnitude of a detection vehicle speed and this circuit 9 consists of resistors R1-R3, comparators 10, 11 and a change-over circuit 12. When a vehicle speed is faster, this display control circuit 9 prolongs a latch time of a latch circuit 5, that is, a time space to update the display content of the digital indicator 8. Accordingly, a quivering fluctuation of an indicated speed due to a slight change of the vehicle speed is eliminated.
