Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the time indication easy to identify while combining a multi- functional liquid crystal indication harmonizing the pointer section and the liquid crystal indicator by indicating hours and minutes with the pointers while second in an analog manner with the liquid crystal indicator. CONSTITUTION:In a compound indication wrist watch having multiple indication functionings through a proper combination of pointers and liquid crystal indicators, the liquid crystal indicator 4 is composed of two indication parts, such as an analog second indication part 25 and a digital indication part 26. The second indication part 25 comprises 60 indication elements in which one lidication element is turned on for one second to perform an alanog indication by an integration method, while the digital indication part 26 provides a universal calendar. The analog module 2 incorporates a crystal oscillation element, a divider circuit, a control circuit and the like to perform an analog indication with a hour hand 14 and a minute hand 15. Operations for time correction and functional change-over are done by an external control member.
