Abstract

1508557 Electronic watches DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 23 Sept 1976 [1 Oct 1975] 39536/76 Heading G3T In an electronic timepiece able to show time of day by means of a digital display 10 for the hours and minutes and an analogue display 11 for subdivisions of a minute, both the displays can be switched over to show corresponding units of time remaining before the expiry of a pre-set interval. The watch shown also has a digital date display and the analogue display 11 comprises six segments energized cumulatively at ten second intervals. The displays are of liquid crystal type, and the necessary circuitry is schematically described, Fig. 3 (not shown). An audible or visible alarm may be activated at the end of the pre-set interval, and the watch then reverts to showing the time of day.
