Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily discriminate the positions of cores and the number of cases, in which the contact has occured, in an instant by bringing a current recording sheet into contact with the conductors of respective cores of multicore cables thereby to cause the conductors of respective cores to generate electromotive forces.
CONSTITUTION: An iron core 8 is excited by an AC source, and magnetic field varying is applied to a multicore cable 1 from its outside thereby to generate electromotive force in the conductors of respective cores 2. When the conductors of the cores have contact, a closed loop is formed by these conductors and the current recording sheet 4, and a curent flows through the current recording sheet 4. As a result, a current path is recorded on the current recording sheet 4.
