Abstract

PURPOSE: To irradiate uniform diffused light on a photoelectric conversion surface and reduce color after image by mounting the light source of bias light irradiated on an image pick-up tube on a deflecting coil.
CONSTITUTION: A light source for irradiating bias light is built in the inner part of the deflecting coil 1. This light source is mounted on the resin ring 5, making a number of light emitting diodes 4 have their specified angle. The bias light 11 emitted from the light source is incident on the inner part of the electrode 8 from the light receiving hole 9 at the rear end of the electrode 8 and arrives at the photoelectric conversion surface 10, reflecting and diffusing the inner wall section. This permits uniform quantity of light to be given on the photoelectric conversion surface 10.
