Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent both the leakage of liquid from the cooling liquid introducing part and the corrosion of connection by inserting an insulated connecting tube into a through hole provided to the winding end of the hollow conductor and by fixing it from both sides of the hollow conductor through an O-ring.
CONSTITUTION: A through hole 8 perpendicular to the cavity 7 of the hollow conductor is provided to the winding end extended from the coil of hollow conductor, the terminal end of the cavity 7 is closed with a blind stopper 7a. On the other hand, a coupling 13, which consists of a flange 10 with a groove 9 for the O-ring, cooling liquid introducing hole 15 and male screw 12, is formed on the tip end of insulated connecting tube 4 with a hole 14 that is in the axial direction, and the axial part of coupling is inserted into the through hole 8 through the O-ring 16. A cap nut 18 is screwed on the male screw 12, which pierces the hollow conductor, through the O- ring 19 to fix the coupling 13. In this way, the liquid leak can completely be prevented and no corrosion is also produced since no silver solder is used.
