Abstract

PURPOSE: To select dehydrating rates according to the kinds of wash by a simplified structure in which motor is designed to be de-energized when the rotating speed of motor reaches any set value by setting variable resistors properly.
CONSTITUTION: The motor 1 for driving a dehydrating cage, the power switch 2, and the switcher 3 are connected in series to the power source. Also, the motor 1 is directly connected to the generator 4 which generates voltage proportional to the rotating speed of the motor 1, and also the variable resistor 7 by which the voltage of the constant voltage device 5 is supplied to the terminal s of the comparator 6 whose voltage is lowered to any voltage is provided. When the voltage of the generator 4 at the terminal p reaches the voltage to be applied to the terminal s, the comparator 6 opens the switcher 4 and keeps the condition and then releases the condition when the power switch 2 is opened. Thus, the dehydrating rate can be freely set up according to the kinds of clothes.
