Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a distortion correction circuit which is suited for the emitter follower circuit or the like. CONSTITUTION:The distortion correction circuit is constituted with constant current source TrQ2 plus its bias TrQ3 and Q4 to emitter follower transistor TrQ1. The output signal is led to TrQ4 featuring nearly same value to load resistance RL in the form of emitter resistance RE to be set to nearly same current value as the AC load current. And the AC current of the reverse phase is generated for the cancel use and then fed back to TrQ1 via TrQ2 and Q3 which form the current Miller circuit. In this case, the cancel-use AC current grown from TrQ4 is followed by the distortion component. And if the distortion is 1%, the overall distortion becomes as 1%X1%=0.01%. In such way, a big distortion reduction effect is secured, thus ensuring a correction of the distortion up to such amount that can be ignored substantially.
