Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten the process time for the branch order in the information processor of pipe-line control system by reading out the branch address order with no synchronization with the clock.
CONSTITUTION: Operand advanced control unit 5 consists of address calculation control step A, buffer memory index control step B, buffer memory reading control step C and data transfer control step D each, and is controlled by the pipe-line system. And if the orders set to register 1 are non-branch orders, these orders are given to execution means E in sequence and through the known method to be carried out. In case the orders are unconditional branch orders, these orders are controlled independently via branch advanced control unit 6 with no synchronization with the control clock of operand advanced control unit 5. As a result, unit 6 reads out the order of the branch address in a short time via the normal pipe-line control to then set it to register 1.
