Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a high-precision constant voltage control possible by applying an orthogonal magnetic field to a saturated reactor and controlling intensity of the magnetic field according to deviation from a fixed-path output voltage.
CONSTITUTION: A DC voltage is applied from input terminal 1, and an alternating voltage is applied to ferro-resonance circuit 6 (consisting of linear reactor 7, saturated reactor 8 and resonance capacitor 9) through transformer 5 by turning-on and off of transistor 2 and 2', and next, the output voltage from circuit 6 is rectified and filtered by rectification diodes 10aW10d and smoothing capacitor 11 respectively and is taken out. Deviation of this output voltage Vout is detected and amplified by voltage comparator circuit 12 and amplifier circuit 13 respectively, and an orthogonal magnetic field is applied to reactor 8 by a current-magnetic field circuit and is fed back. The output voltage of a main circuit is stabilized roughly by circuit 6, and the residual voltage deviation is detected by detection part 12 and 13 to perform feedback control, so that a high-precision control can be performed and jump for a light load can be restrained.
