Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the occurrence of pinholes and breakage by printing overlappingly more than twice by the offset printing method with the single and same printer while the transfer surface of the blanket is displaced.
CONSTITUTION: An overlapping printing is performed by printing successively several times without displacing the printed substrate or by printing once each of a plurality of sheets and reprinting successively each of the sheets. The surface of the transfer roller is disslaced every time or once of several times when the sheets are relocated in the positioning apparatus in the printer. Thus pinholes and breakages are prevented from occurring in the same place due to the defects in the surface of the transfer roller. In the case of a cylinder type transfer system, a slide layer 4 for supporting the transfer layer 3 is provided in the surface of the transfer cylinder body 2 so that the transfer layer 3 can slide thereon easily as necessity occurs.
