Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize the acceleration of the magnetic recording performance by providing the memory circuit possessing the memory capacity more than the data capacity produced through one process between the external interface and the direct peripheral circuit of the magnetic disk device.
CONSTITUTION: Temporary memory circuit 30, write/read control circuit 40, control mode register 50 and sector detection unit 60 are added between direct peripheral circuit 20 which controls magnetic disk device 10 and external interface 70. Circuit 30 possesses the memory capacity more than the data capacity which is processed by once writing or reading control, and the input and output action are executed in parallel and non-synchronously with the disk device. Unit 60 receives address ASP of the writing or reading designated by interface 70 and secures the coincidence with the sector detection signal on the disk surface to send sector coincidence detection signal g to circuit 40. Circuit 40 makes circuit 30 memorize writing data DIN and then transmits the data to circuit 20 or memorizes the reading data sent from device 10. Then the control is given so that reading data DOT may be sent out to outside in synchronization with the external device.
