Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable masters of any lengths to be surely mounted to a plate cylinder by so constituting the sheet-from bodies having main information that their back surfaces are made of magnetic material and they may be mounted to the drum peripheral surface through magnetic attraction. CONSTITUTION:There are a pressure roller 3 and a magnetic head 4 in the carrying-in path of a master or photoreceptor. A clamp roller 8 is provided near a plate cylinder or drum 5 and a plurality of electromagnets 9 are disposed in the drum 5 and are series-connected. Feed brushes 11 being in contact with a central shaft 10 are provided to the electromagnets of both ends. The magnetic head 4 is connected via decoder 13 to a control unit 12 or a magnetosensitive element 14 is connected. The lower layer of the photoreceptor 15 is a magnetic material layer 25 in order to be attracted to the peripheral surface of the drum 5 by the electromagnets 9 and the middle layer is a base 26 which is composed of paper, aluminum or the like. The upper layer is a photo semiconductor layer 27. The information necessary for the copying is provided in the magnetic material layer 25.
