Abstract

PURPOSE:To transfer a toner well without a white due to a carrier, by providing a means, which removes the carrier stuck onto a latent image forming material, between a developing part and a transfer part and in the developing part. CONSTITUTION:A means, namely, a magnetic roller 16 which removes a carrier stuck onto a latent image forming material 1 between a developing part 4 and a transfer part 6 at a development time is arranged in the developing part 4. An interval t' between this means 16 and the latent image forming material 1 is shorter than an interval (t) between the latent image forming material and a magnetic roller 11 of the developing part 4, and the gate of a crest cutting plate 17 is matched to the interval t'. Thus, since a latent image is developed after carrier pieces stuck onto the surface of the latent image forming material 1 are removed by suction, the toner is transferred well without a white.
