Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure an easy detection for the leak at the welded area through the same level as the welding surface by providing the sealed area between the overlapped components for welding, forming the sealed gap part between the welded area and the sealed area, and then supplying the detection gas into the gap part.
CONSTITUTION: Component 15 is overlapped to the upper surface near the end part of the other component 14 to be welded, and then the welding is given between end face 15a and the upper surface of component 14. In this case, sealing film 16 such as the vinyl sheet or the like is adhered via adhesive tape 17 and the like between the end lower face of component 15 and the end upper face of component 14. Thus the sealed gap part 18 is formed between welding area 11 and film 16. Then the detection gas is supplied into gap part 18 through hole 19 provided on part 18 of component 15 positioning at the upper surface side. Thus the leak can be detected at area 11 via the known method.
