Abstract
PURPOSE:To accomplish injection molding free from welded lines by means of a rotor adapted to open or close the communication between the fluids and mold cavities having separate pathes proper to the respective fluids provided at the tip of nozzle for injecting move than two kinds of fluids including synthetic resin into the cavities. CONSTITUTION:This nozzle is composed of a body 1, a rotor 14 and the like. The rotor 14 rotates with an actuator around the axis 16 of the nozzle. Having a path 17 for the first fluid and a path 18 for the second fluid, the rotor can open or close the communication of a gate 6 and the mold cavities 5 with the first path 17 and the second path 18 with the rotation. In other words, when the first fluid is injected from the first injection cylinder 2, the path 17 is communicated to the gate 6 to the mold 4 and then, with the rotation of the rotor, the second fluid is injected through the path 18 from another cylinder 3. With such an arrangement, an even sandwitch construction can be yielded free from welded line.
