Abstract

1,125,659. Injection moulding machines- DESMA-WERKE G.m.b.H. 7 July, 1967 [9 Sept., 1966], No. 31308/67. Addition to 1,062,169. Heading B5A. An injection nozzle as in Specification 1,062,169, is provided with means 24 for closing the injection passage 23 at or after the end of each injection operation. The closure means may be a rotary slide valve 24 which is movable by a fluid-operated cylinder (25) acting through linkage 26, 27. The cylinder (25) may be controlled in dependence upon the degree of filling of the injection mould 11. The nozzle may have electric heating means 31 and water-cooling means 32.
