Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a uniform thickness for an insulation layer by wrapping an insurationtape in order to eliminate up-and-down of another insulation tape that has been wrapped, and obtaining a smooth surface and a uniform tightening pressure on a conductor of a coil.
CONSTITUTION: A starting point 2a of conductor winding and a starting point 4d-1 of insulation tape winding are fixed on a bobbin 1. Then the conductor and insulation tape are wound until required number of rounds 2b is reached to form the first layer. The tape is used as an insulator 3 in between two layers. In grooves formed in this process, insulators 7 with suitable width and thickness are wound at the same time. End section insulators 6 are placed at the end of the first layer. Then a duct piece is placed and the conductor 2 is wound to form the second layer from an ending point 2b of the first layer. The insulation tape is also wound into several layers to form a stuffing 4b. The above process is repeated by providing the insulation tape 7 in the grooves formed on the in-between layer insulation tape 3, thus the surface becomes smooth. As a result, the conductor surface is evenly tightened, the thickness of the insulation layer becomes uniform, and insulation capacity is increased.
