Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the power loss at the fine weather time which occupies a greater part in terms of time by providing the interference wave offset circuit at both the reception and transmission side each with a function which separates or combines the two circular polarized waves featuring a free relation to each other to the different terminals. CONSTITUTION:The electric field fed to terminal 2 is supplied to terminal 27 of polarizer 25 via directional coupler 14 and then changed into the linear polarized wave via terminal 28. A free variation is secured for the polarization factor of an oval by the turn of 180 deg. and 90 deg. phase difference plates 30 and 31, thus obtaining the free oval polarized wave through antenna 32. At the same time, the electric field fed to terminal 1 is controlled by variable distributor 3 and variable phase shifter 11 to obtain the free oval polarized wave independently from the above mentioned oval polarized wave. Then under the fine weather, the electric field fed to terminal 2 is set identical to that under the rainy weather, and the electric field fed to terminal 1 is combined to the side of terminal 7 via distributor 3 to be then fed to terminal 26 of polarizer 25 and then changed into the linear polarized waves orthogonal to each other at terminal 28. Thus the free oval polarized wave is obtained at antenna 32 via plates 30 and 31.
