Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the safety of condenser by a mechanism wherein an air control valve is installed in the midway of an air drawing pipe connecting an air exit pipe and an air drawing device, and valve opening is controlled in accordance with the output of a vacuum detector, thereby efficiency of the condenser is lowered especially in winter time when the temp. of coolant is low.
CONSTITUTION: When the condenser is at working in winter time when the temp. of coolant is low, and when the condenser vacuum shows high value, control valve 17 is closed being actuated by the signal outputted by the vacuum detector 20, making control valve 18 open by the interlocking mechanism. Then, non-condensable gas and leaked air stay within the air passage part 11 on accuount of the pressure distribution within the air cooling part 10, and after the pressure at the coolant intake valve 5 side is balanced with that of the coolant exit valve 9 side, the non- condensable gas and the leaked gas are discharged into the atmosphere by the air drawing device 15 thru air exit pipe 16, control valve 18 and the air discharge piping 19. In addition, the vacuum value of the condenser is controlled and maintained at the desired value by throtting the control valve 17 and opening the valve 18 in accordance with the rising of the vacuum value of the condenser.
