Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the mass of the vibration system and thus to ensure an acoustic reproduction which is flat up to the high sound region by connecting the upper end of the voice coil directly to the domed diaphragm and thus omitting the voice coil. CONSTITUTION:The domed diaphragm possesses dome part 21 at its center. Rise part 22 is provided at the fringe of part 21, flat part 23 continues to part 22, and edge 19 is adhered to the upper surface of part 23. And the voice coil is connected to the lower surface of part 23. This coil 25 is fitted into magnetic gap 26 of the magnetic circuit. In such constitution, the coil bobbin can be omitted for the voice coil to reduce the mass of the vibration mass. As a result, the flat acoustic reproduction becomes possible up to the high-sound region, and furthermore the lead wire occupation rate can be increased for the coil of the magnetic gap. Thus a high efficiency can be secured.
