Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an element without any magnetic flux leakage through the process consisting of forming a spiral coil of copper foil on an insulating substrate, covering the surface of said coil with insulating sheet, fitting amorphous magnetic core wafers on the both sides of said substrate, and interconnecting said wafers by means of the through hole provided in and peripheral portion of said substrate.
CONSTITUTION: A spiral coil 2 is formed of copper foil on the flexible substrate 1 made of polyimide or polyester film, and one end and the other thereof are connected to terminals 3 and 5 respectively by means of the jumper wires 4 with insulating covering which is passed through the upper or lower surface of said substrate 1 for connecting the latter. A through hole 7 is provided at the center of said coil 2, and the surface of said coil 2 is covered with insulating sheet 8. Next, foil-shaped magnetic coils 6 and 9 amorphous or of the composition of Fe, Co, Si and B are fitted so that said substrate 1 may be sandwiched therebetween for making an inductance element. Thereby, no leakage magnetic flux occurs, and said element can be reduced in size.
