Abstract
PURPOSE: To spread the coating solution automatically, continuously, and efficiently, by providing a rotating body to continuously transfer the coating solution between the coating solution tank and the edge of the sheet to be coated.
CONSTITUTION: A coating device consists of a glue storage tank 3, and rotating body 4 for glue transfer rotated by a motor 8. The rotating body 4 is a conical trapezoid, and its angle of inclination of the peripheral side face with respect to the center line is 45 degrees, and a rotary shaft 9 is also inclined 45 degrees with respect to the horizontal line. Therefore, the lower face 12 of the peripheral side face 11 of the rotating body 4 is horizontal, and the upper face 14 is vertical, and the rotating body 4 is constituted so as to abut against side face P of the core paper 1 transferred in the vertical direction on the shown paper surface by means of a conveyor 2. Thus, when the core paper 1 is sent from the upper face to the back on the shown paper surface by means of the conveyor 2 and the rotating body is rotated in the direction of arrow A, liquid glue 13 of hot melt adhesive runs along the peripheral surface and deposits on the edge P of the core paper 1.
