Abstract

PURPOSE: To exercise quick and smooth follow-up control over a controlled system without being influenced by an input mode, through the operations of an acceleration operator, boost command unit, control saturator, and comparator by selecting a controller according to an input signal.
CONSTITUTION: Once position input signal 19 and speed input signal 18 are input to operator 8, the input signal to mode decision unit 7 is made sure and a controller corresponding to the signal is selected among bang-bang controller 1, variable gain controller 5 and hybrid controller 6. Speed input signal 18 is input to acceleration arithmetic unit 10. Its arithmetic result is supplied as decision information to the best switching decision unit 3 to set the best switching point. Further, speed input signal 18 is input to boost command unit 11 as well. While variable gain controller 5 is in operation, boost signal 20 is supplied to comparator 13 to eliminate quickly the difference between the output of control saturator 12 and speed signal 16.
