Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure the several A/D conversions requiring the different accuracy with one unit of A/D converter, by switching the voltage level of the digital value to be supplied to the D/A converting part with the control signal of the multiplexer.
CONSTITUTION: With selection of analog sensors 1a∼1d each, resistances 18a∼18d are set so that the potential of point Q may be -1∼-4V each. The value of resistances 13a∼13d are set to R, R/2, R/4 and R/8 each. And at first output 20 arithmetic circuit 2B is set to 1 with other outputs set to 0 respectively. As a result, transistor 8a is turned off. And the voltage of output point 0 of amplifier 6 becomes V/16 when the voltage of point Q is -1V with resistance 12 set to R/16 each. Then outputs 21∼23 are delivered in sequence and in the binary number, and thus the voltage of point P rises up by V/16. The voltage of point Q selects sensor 1b to become -2V, and then outpts 20∼23 are delivered in sequence. Thus the voltage of point P rises up by V/8. After this, the voltage of point P rises up by V/16 or V/4 in accordance with the voltage of point Q.
