Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled low-priced composition having free water, by blending wet calcium peroxide obtained by reacting slaked lime with hydrogen peroxide with calcined gypsum so that water in calcium peroxide is converted into crystal water of calcium sulfate.
CONSTITUTION: Slaked lime is reacted with hydrogen peroxide to give wet calcium peroxide, to which hemihydrate of calcium sulfate (calcined gypsum) is added and stirred uniformly so that water in calcium peroxide is taken away as crystal water of calcium sulfate to give a soil conditioner composition.
EFFECT: Powder like dried sand. The composition is not solidified for a long period of storage, and stable.
