Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the defacement-proof property of a magnetic layer by using the vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate system copolymer as a binder and causing a magnetic layer to include liguid paraffin and phthalic-acid ester in a specific ratio repectively.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid paraffin of 2 to 5 weight part for magnetic powder 100 weight part and phthalic-acid ester of 5 to 7 weight part for magnetic powder 100 weight part are added and mixed to the magnetic paint where the vinyl chloride- vinyl acetate system copolymer is a binder for magnetic powder. This magnetic paint is applied onto a substrate and is dried, and a magnetic layer is formed. As a result, drift paraffin is prevented from exuding onto the magnetic layer surface over a required quantity even in case of a large quantity of liquid paraffin addition, and superior lubrication effects can be obtained stably for a long time.
