Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an impressive and attractive drink which changes its color tone instantaneously, composed of a drink composition containing an anthraquinone- based natural dye and packed in a part of a container, and the other component containing pH-regulating agent and packed in the other part of the container.
CONSTITUTION: A cap 1 is placed upside down, and a drink composition is poured into the cavity 2 through an opening 3. The composition is weakly alkaline or weakly acidic, and contains an anthraquinone-based natural dye. A plug 5 is screwed to the opening 3, a supporting tube 6 is secured to the plug 5, and the main part of the container 4 is screwed to the cap 1. The main part of the container is filled with a pH-regulating liquid, and closed tightly with a bottom plate 7. The drink composition changes its pH within the range of 7 by mixing with the pH- regulaing liquid.
