Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in the temperature of a machine to be cooled by installing a cooling fan at the load-side end of a rotary shaft, and flowing the inhaled cooling wind toward the other end of the shaft and in the direction of the shaft along the outside of the frame. CONSTITUTION:A cooling fan 6 is attached to the inside of a load-side bracket 4 at the load-side end of a rotary shaft 7. An air inhaling hole 5 is provided at the load-side bracket 4, and an air exhausting hole 3 is provided at the portion of a frame 1 opposing the cooling fan 6. Furthermore, a fan cover 10, in which a hole is provided so as to face the opposite side of the load, is provided at the outside of the air exhausting hole 3, so that the cooling air from the cooling fan 6 is flowed to the opposite side of the load in the direction of the shaft along fins 2 of the outside of the frame. In this constitution, since the cooling air which has cooled the heat is flowed to the opposite side of the load, the increase in the temperature of the machine to be cooled as a load can be avoided and the thermal expansion can be prevented.
