Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the adhesiveness of ink to a glass surface and to enable a high-speed printing, by a method wherein a surface treatment agent, whose main components are lithium silicate and organic plastic resin emulsion is coated on the glass surface which is an object to be printed.
CONSTITUTION: A surface treatment agent, composed by mixing (A) and (B), wherein, (A) is a lithium silicate (preferably a chemical compound of Li2O.nSiO2 and n is 4W8), and (B) is organic resin emulsion of acryl resin, having preferably component of B 500W1,000 pts.wt. of resin within the weight parts of component A, are coated on the glass surface and form a film, the thickness thereof is preferably less than 10μ. Concentration rate of solid component of said treatment agent is preferably 0.5W20wt%.
EFFECT: This eliminates the need for an additional heating treatment and can also improve a filming property and a water-proof property.
