Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the highly effective working of the terminal printer equipment, by reducing the power consumption of the printer until the information signal transmitted intermittently to the terminal printer equipment of its own is received and cutting off automatically the power supply when the printer head is stopped.
CONSTITUTION: When the information transmitted intermittently is received 2 with addition of the fixed terminal identification signal, the data signal is isolated through signal process circuit 3. And when the identification signal of its own is detected, detection output ID for print-out control is produced. The data signal is written into memory 4 and then read out to be applied to head driving circuit 6 of printer 5 and then to head 7. Head 7 is scanned by motor 8, and meanwhile prints the contents of the data signal. In this instant, the clock pulse is generated 9 in synchronization with the scanning and then applied to signal circuit 3 to be synchronized with the reading of memory 4. Power supply control circuit 10 starts automatically the supply via signal ID and continues the supply while the clock pulse is produced. As a result, the power consumption can be reduced with the accurate working ensured.
